Serving only 100% Portuguese wines (that's 100% Portuguese grape varieties, not just wines produced in Portugal) and housed in a quaint building that is possibly the oldest in the village of Porches and dates from the 1700's, Rolha is a gem.

At Rolha you can sample by the glass an array of Portuguese wines. All are produced using only Portuguese grape varieties, which makes for a very interesting selection. Your host at Rolha is Antonio Teixeira - he's also the walking wine list. Just tell Antonio what type of wine you enjoy or what you feel like drinking and he will come up with some perfect suggestions. Passionate about wine and extremely knowledgeable, Antonio will happily explain some of the background of the various wines and the vineyards represented at Rolha.
